2011 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4

Seller's description

Launched on 28 February 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show, five months after its initial unveiling in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the Avenrador, internally codenamed LB834, was designed to replace the then-decade-old Murciélago as the new flagship model.
In keeping with Lamborghini tradition, the Aventador is named after a fighting bull. Aventador was a bull that fought particularly valiantly in the bull ring of Zaragoza, Spain in 1993. The bull which the Aventador is named after earned the Trofeo de la Peña La Madroñera for its courage in the arena.
The car’s shape borrows heavily from Lamborghini’s limited-edition Reventón and their Estoque concept car. It uses Lamborghini’s new 700 PS 6.5 litre 60° V12 engine weighing 235 kg. The new power unit is Lamborghini’s fourth in-house engine and second V12 design. It is the first all-new V12 since the 3.5 litre powerplant found in the 350GT.
Its transmission is a single-clutch seven-speed semi-automatic which shifts in 50 milliseconds. Astonishingly fast for a single clutch unit.

EQUIPMENT

Front lift, ABS, Remote alarm, Tracker, Alloy wheels, Climate control, Electric heated mirrors, PAS, Satellite Navigation, Media HDD, Bluetooth, Ceramic brakes, Transparent engine cover.

EXTERIOR

This Aventador is finished in Bianco Isis which show off its sharp, angular and aggressive lines to full effect. The paintwork is first class with no marks or scuffs to note. The gloss white paint is offset by black spoilers front and rear, huge air ducts, black light clusters, a black roof and gloss black wheels resulting in a fantastic contrasting colour way.
Space age front light pods remain free of stone chips or cracks as does the rear tiered glass that covers the engine bay and engineered to allow heat to escape.

INTERIOR

In typical Lamborghini style the scissor door lift smoothly and allow the driver and passenger to shuffle into the cabin. Resembling more of a fighter jet cockpit, the experience is an event without even a turn of the key, or in this case a push start button hidden under a red safety flap more in keeping with a missile launch button.
A full LCD dash display shows all information needed to pilot this attack machine with the choice of Strada, Sport or Corsa preset configurations for throttle, suspension, transmission and engine settings.
Comfort however is not an after thought, the interior finished with layers of soft black leather held together with subtle yellow stitching that extends to the seats, door cards and dash board. Tech is prominent with Nav, media and Bluetooth to link mobile devices and controlled via a screen on the centre console.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

Proudly on display the heart of this bull looks incredible through the glass. Chassis tubing, Ohlin push rod suspension and carbon fibre shroud the engine with a badge indicating its cylinder layout, ‘V12′ and firing order.
The engine has had regular servicing from the main dealer and operates as expected, barking into life with the intent, if allowed, to propel the car to warp speeds with dramatic effect.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

19 inch front and 20 inch rear gloss black 5 spoke alloy wheels barely hide huge ceramic brakes with yellow calipers. Rubber is supplied by Pirelli with matching P-Zeros all round.
