Whilst the Challenge Stradales origins are of course firmly in the family of the 360 Modena, marginal tweaks and gains across the board transform it into a very different beast altogether. From the ground up engineers revised the balance of the chassis, gave the engine more power and therefore an improved power to weight ratio. The carbon ceramic brakes were borrowed from the Enzo, any extraneous weight was ditched achieving a figure some 110 kg lighter than the standard Modena. One could rightly say that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts…

This remarkable example was supplied new in Germany in March 2004 to the first owner. Ordered in the stunning colour combination of an all white exterior livery with an equally attractive dark grey and red alcantara interior.

Stunning throughout in every respect as one would expect with only 1800 kms showing since new this Challenge Stradale has been beautifully looked after with the necessary stamps present in the service book. Also present is the tool kit and leather wallet with all the handbooks.

One of Ferraris truly dual purpose road and track racers, the Challenge Stradale (along with the 599 GTO, qv) has justifiably earned a place in the history books as offering an extraordinary driving experience completely removed from the standard iteration.
