Only 430 of these cars were ever built in the years Citroën owned Maserati. With hydraulic systems from Citroen, this Maserati is not only very quick but also very comfortable at the same time. This unique cooperation has led to an astonishing result and until now, a highly undervalued motorcar.

This particular example was built in July 1980 and was delivered to the Maserati dealer of Lecce, Italy. The car was only registered until the 30th of June 1983. Its extensive history is complete from day one and available for those who are interested. Full documentation confirming its history also includes all the original service books and manuals, just as the original tools as can be seen in the photographs.
The exterior of the car is in exceptionally good condition and has been re-sprayed once in its life, in the original colour called 'Rame'. The car has been used, has been driven and most of all, has been enjoyed. Although some marks can be found, the overall state is in perfect condition.
Fitted with the original ‘Campagnolo’ wheels and as good as new Michelin XWX tires, this Khamsin does not only drive well in a straight line, it handles superbly.
The interior is fully equipped and for the biggest part still in its original state. The colour of the interior is Ivory with brown velour carpets and matches the exterior perfectly. A rare factory-fitted ‘Rollo’ in the boot makes luggage invisible in seconds and provides a very clean look in the rear view mirror.
The original air-conditioning has been converted to modern specifications meaning the car can be used all year round.

Technically this Maserati is perfect. With a very extensive service history throughout its lifetime, and matching numbers throughout all components of the car, this is a truly complete original. All the hydraulics work the way they are supposed to and no leakages can be found.
Here is the chance to purchase an unspoiled, highly original Maserati Khamsin which can be enjoyed immediately. This car is well known in the Maserati world, also being used on the cover of Mr. Marc Sonnery’s book ‘Maserati, the Citroën years’.
