2004 Ferrari 575
Seller's description
After 23 years of building flat 12 cylinders high performance Berlinettas with the BB and Testarossa lines, Ferrari launched in 1996 the fantastic 550 Maranello. It was the return to the front engined V12 engineering coupled to a transaxle transmission, actually a modern evocation of the famous Daytona. The Boxer and Testarossa were really nice cars but very difficult to use as daily driver, with the Maranello Ferrari designed a pure GT more than a sports car, a sublime and elegant automobile with a high level of performance and offering some real daily driving abilities. The 5,5liter engine produced 485HP, the 550 could run the standing km in less than 23 sec and reached 312km/h in total safety. The cars’ reliability and much cheaper maintenance opened a new area for Ferrari and it was a real success. In 2002 Ferrari launched a much revised version from the Maranello, the 575 « Modificata ». The new Maranello was a much better driver than the 550 with output upgraded to 5,7Liter and 515HP, new aero and floors, brakes, redesigned interior & dashboard and was optionally fitted with a F1 gearbox - a premiere for a 12 cylinders Ferrari. The new car was accordingly much improved in terms for performance and handling with 325km/h as top speed and only needed 21,9sec to reach the standing kilometer. Only 2064 example of 575 M were built from 2002 to 2005, in another words they are as rare as the 512 BBs. The Maranello will remain as one of Ferrari’s GT master piece and sat new standards in terms of elegance, performance and drivability.
The fantastic 575 we are pleased to offer is one of the only 100 reported « HGTC » to have been built. In 2004 Ferrari launched the HGTC package ( as a reference to the 575 GTCs raced then in FIA-GT and at Le Mans ) for the more demanding customers, in order to enhance the car’s performance and efficiency. The package includes : completely revised suspension with stiffer shocks/springs and sway bars, sport exhaust system, quicker gearbox settings, ceramic brakes, beautiful two pieces 19 inches rims and a full carbon interior. The bodywork was identical excepting for a front grill trimmed with aluminium just as the classic Ferraris, which very nicely finishes the car. All of these make the driving much more precise and rewarding compared to the standard cars.
This immaculate 575 HGTC was delivered new by Garage Zenith of Lausanne on 15/8/2004 to a Swiss resident who kept the car until 2013 when he sold it to its second owner. It has been ordered with the highly desirable carbon seats and the beautiful color combination of « Giallo Modena » & black interior. It ran 43000km from new, has its full Ferrari service history and just comes from a full service including the cam belts at Francorchamps motors. The condition is absolutely amazing in and out, excepting for the front bumper and fenders ( repainted due to stoneships ) still wears its regional paint.
