Porsche 928
In radical, obvious renunciation from the classic Porsche shape, this cars should be a true counterpart to the Jaguar XJ-S or the Mercedes coupé in 1977.But neither the critics nor the audience noticed. Until today only a few people are interested for the Transaxle design and the styling of Anatole Lapine, which is not only sensational for its time - also the pleasant driving which distinguished the Porsche 928 is only little appreciated. A highlight of the Porsche series was the special version GT, which became with 330 hp and 276 km / h to one of the fastest road cars by Porsche. In 1995 the production of the Porsche 928 was discontinued - a long life for a car type. However much longer the 911 was alive, which it actually replaced.
