EQUIPMENT

EXTERIOR
Finished in Grand Prix white the paintwork on the 964 is in excellent condition and a classic shade for the iconic 911, it remains largely original with all of its factory fitted panels still in place. The body work presents beautifully and is entirely corrosion free having spent its life in Japan. The slender body is sleek and elegant, a very small car by todays standards and as such light and nimble. On close inspection glass and lenses are free from any cracks or damage the only signs of age being the rear Porsche centre light section but with OEM units still available this can easily be replaced upon sale.

INTERIOR
The Recaro bucket seats are upholstered in grey and black leather, in keeping with the car’s low mileage the leather remains in excellent and original condition. The otherwise subdued and dark cockpit is lifted with subtle splashes of red, adding a further sporty feel to the interior with the seats belts, door pulls and ‘Carrera RS’ designation all colour coded. In true RS style, the car is devoid of equipment such as electric windows, rear seats, and a radio. What’s left is a magnificent driver focused cockpit bearing only the essentials, and remaining in fantastic condition.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 3.6-litre air-cooled engine starts first turn of the key with a veritable flat-six roar. As with the rest of the car, the engine bay is entirely corrosion-free, retaining a clean and tidy appearance. With a comprehensive service history it is no surprise the car flew through our inspection process with no work needed. The five-speed manual gearbox still feels smooth and precise.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The original 17-inch Magnesium wheels present in good order. The alloys are shod in a matching set of Yokohama tyres, each with plenty of tread left. Between the spokes the ventilated discs show ample life remaining, and certainly do a good job of stopping the car quickly and in a straight line.

HISTORY FILE
This Porsche RS has covered just shy of 34k kms to date, which equates to a very low 21k miles. Supplied new to Japan, it has been treasured by its owners and spoiled with a full and comprehensive service history. It is now registered in the UK with all taxes and duties paid.

Present in the cars history file is the original leather document holder, complete with the dealer-supplied owner’s manual and service booklet.
