1972 Porsche 911 T
Seller's description
This Porsche 911 Coupe is particularly captivating for its special paste/lime green color and the rich array of extra features. This rare “fuel filler flap model“ was first delivered to the U.S.A. in 1972, where the T-models featured the mechanic fuel injection by Bosch as of 1972, instead of the Zenith carburetors, which were used for the E- and S-models. Accordingly, not only the output of these so-called T-E models was increased to 140 hp, but also the comfort. The coupe offered here is in largely original unrestored condition. The underfloor carries the factory-made PVC underbody protection, welding jobs can not be found. As far as the interior is concerned, seats, dash panel, interior rooftop and carpets are original, the dash panel has a small crack at the loudspeaker opening towards the windscreen (ca. 1,5 cm). Engine and gearbox are both from 1972, so that it can be assumed that they have matching numbers. The vehicle comprises a good documentation, the invoices go back to 1976 when the second owner bought the Porsche for 7,500 USD. Purchase contract from 1976 and the original manual are also at hand. The mileage is plausible on basis of the documentation.
