This superb GTV was first registered in Portugal in 1972 and it remained there until recently. It has matching numbers and is finished in its original evocative colour combination of Alfa Red with a rare full black leather interior never available on UK examples.

The Alfa is in exceptional concours winning and completely correct order throughout having been fully restored in 2010 by renowned Alfa specialists. The quality and detail of the work completed is to a far higher standard than one is used to seeing in this model, the work was clearly carried out without regard to cost.

On the road the Alfa is a great partner clearly well sorted and displaying a satisfying, indeed surprising, turn of speed for a 43 year old car. A number of upgrades clearly enhance this experience, the GTA Corsa air trumpets give a great soundtrack and no doubt a few extra horses whilst someone has clearly spent much time perfecting the suspension set up.

This must be one of the finest examples of the 105 Series, a beautiful and very capable classic overflowing with charisma.
