Seller's description
The engine power read from the papers is 170 KW, in reality the power is 170 PS.
The Citroen SM was presented at the Geneva Auto Salon in 1970. Robert Opron, who was also in charge of the design of the models GS and CX, sketched the SM. Today the Citroën SM is considered a style icon and thanks to its Maserati six- cylinder engine it is a powerful and exciting vehicle.Since Citroen held 60% of Maserati's shares in those days, Citroën director Pierre Bercot decided to employ Maserati engines, even though efforts were also made to develop such motors in his own house.
