1997 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe

Seller's description

This 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo is an two-owner example with under 20k miles and original paint verified by thickness readings. It has been with the current owner since 2004 and comes with comprehensive service history and a clean Carfax report. Sold new in Florida where is has remained ever since, the car is all stock apart from a lowered suspension. Finished in Arctic Silver over gray leather, overall condition is excellent. It is routinely serviced by Porsche specialist shop Gulf Performance of Pompano Beach, Florida with all of the seller’s records viewable below. The seller says you’ll be hard pressed to find a nicer 993 Turbo anywhere.
The seller purchased the car in July 2004 with 7200 miles, and has added around 1000 miles/year since. Arctic Silver looks great on these cars, and the wheels are stock 18″ hollow-spoke Turbo Twists. The seller says paint is all original with no touchups. The paint was metered all around the car, with readings mostly in the 3.5 to 4.5 range with a few 3.0s and a 5.0. The seller says 3 to 5 is within the normal range for factory finish.
A recently removed 3M clear bra fitted from new has preserved the nose very well with no noticeable chips or scratches. Bodywork is straight with excellent, factory-set gaps and no dings. Plastic, rubber, glass and other trim is very well preserved as well, the car presenting largely as-new even when inspected closely. Rear wheels were professionally refinished in October of 2010.

The interior is very clean with only light wear, mostly confined to some creasing on the driver’s bottom seat cushion. All leather, vinyl, carpeting, plastic, aluminum and other materials are in excellent condition throughout, and the power sunroof functions well. An optional Aluminum Package consists of alu-look instrument dials, brushed trim rings, an aluminum shift knob, and matching parking brake handle. Note the clean Turbo scripted door sill trims. The A/C works well and the system was overhauled in 2007 and received a new evaporator in 2010. The stereo is the original Porsche AM/FM/CD unit.
The 3.6L, 400hp engine resides beneath the stock Porsche intercooler with all factory stickers in place. Service records below show routine maintenance by Gulf Performance over the last 11 years. The car received new lower control arms and sway bar end links in 2007 and a new clutch, flywheel, and steering rack fitted in 2013. Many underbody shots are viewable below.
The seller describes maintenance as meticulous and says the new owner can be confident adding miles immediately. The sale includes both original keys, remotes, all original books in the correct Porsche-embossed folder, original spare tire, jack, toolkit, and tire inflator. The car has a clear Florida title in the seller’s name.
