This fantastic A610 has certainly survived as a design tour-de-force with a perfectly conceived balance of aggression and style that sits as fresh today as it did at launch. This Alpine presents in outstanding showroom condition having been pampered its entire life by none other than Renault UK; a testimony to the cars condition and provenance. The red coachwork, thought to be the only A610 in this colour, looks absolutely stunning with structural and cosmetic fit and finish as one would expect from such a low mileage example. All trims and rubbers present soft and supple, with lights crystal clear and the traditional Turbo graphic sitting pride of place in the rear quarter glass.

INTERIOR
All of the switch gear and controls maintain a clean and clear finish in keeping with this wonderful step back to 90′s kitsch. The quilted grey soft leather seats maintain a texture and shape that can only be attributed to nominal use and mileage. Extended leather to door cards and glove box surround add a touch of class to an otherwise driver focused cabin, whilst the front boot and rear engine cover show impeccably well.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
With just 2,000 miles on the odometer, and having been regularly serviced by Renault UK, this Alpine presents and performs perfectly. On test a lack of mechanical intrusion is one of the advantages of having the engine positioned at the rear and the lightness of the controls, the visibility and the refinement provide a benign tactility when both pressing on and at cruising speeds.

The original fitment 16 inch Spider wheels present unmarked with nuts, centres and valves all in stunning original order with the car pleasingly still wearing the Michelin MXX Radial tyres supplied from new.

HISTORY FILE
Extraordinarily this A610 has spent most of its life under the car of its maker in a Renault main dealer showroom, a definitive museum piece as the first RHD produced in exclusive Flat Red paintwork. As such the car has been kept in the best place for periodic maintenance as and when required. The car was owned solely by Renault UK up until last year when the car was purchased by it’s first private keeper, destined for a collection, and is now fortunately available to the open market for the first time.
