Equipped with a V6 engine of 2458 cc displacement and 200 hp.
Alpine GTA (produced 1985-1990) was the successor to the legendary A310 model. It’s the first production car from Dieppe designed from scratch after Alpine had been taken over by Renault. During 6 production years 4151 cars V6 Turbo were built (typ D501), and till 1990 altogether 2791 Renault Alpine GTA. Currently most wanted and highest rated is the later, limited version LeMans (D502), of which 325 were produced in 1990.
In 1991 the GTA was replaced by a new model, Alpine A610.
History of the car
The specimen presented by Ardor Auctions is surely one of the best kept V6 GTA Turbos in Europe. The car’s paint has been totally renewed, the body sealings were replaced too. The interior is in very good condition. After bringing the car to Poland, upholstery of the driver’s seat was repaired as well as the floor rugs and of the ventilation steering panel on the console. The alternator has been regenerated, clutch replaced, as well as sealing of the gearbox and engine. Among parts replaced there are: a sporty exhaust system by Eltec, intake system with integrated blow-off valve and a Quaife differential. The original exhaust system is among the car’s equipment.
With the Alpine GTA there is a documentation confirming the conducted repairs, however there’s no service checkbook. The estimated kilometrage is approx. 200 000 km.
