Seller's description
The requirement was for an original Grand Prix White car with factory air conditioning. The owner required no sunroof and a G50 transmission.
A perfect donor car, a 1987 model 3.2 Carrera G50, was eventually found in Milan in Italy, in excellent order and with only 58000 mls (92000 kms), it gave its new owner a trouble free run to the UK.
The car was built using all steel or glassfibre panels as per the original period Carrera RS body style. The finished vehicle has benefitted from our full Dinitrol cavity injection and underbody proofing.
Just 18000km since the build was finished in 2007.
The engine is rebuilt to 3.5L high compression 964 cams upgrade and full stainless steel exhaust.
The original 5 speed Getrag G50 transmission was fully rebuilt with limited slip differential.
The Suspension was rebuilt with new Bilsteins shock absorbers front and rear, uprated rear torsion bars and adjustable, early layout front anti-roll bar.
