Hardly any other car is as well-known as the Jaguar-E-Type, first introduced in 1961. The design by Malcolm Sayers followed the sports model XK SS. Ayers said about its sensational shape that he had made it like a sculpture of a beautiful woman: With muscles where they belong and curves the way men like them.... It is no surprise that the coupe has adorned the Museum of Modern Arts in New York since 1968. Jaguar developed the Mk2 for the American market as of 1969, with the turn signals and tail lamps below the bumper bars. The 4.2 liter six cylinder with double overhead camshaft has an output of 265hp and an impressive torque.
