Fort Lauderdale Collection South is proud to present this 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari. The LaFerrari represents the pinnacle of automotive design and engineering. It is quite literally in a class of its own. It is Ferrari's most ambitious project yet to push the boundaries of technology on a road car, drawing together the finest expression of the marque's technical capabilities in both GT and Formula 1 engineering. Just 499 were built.
It boasts the most extreme performance ever achieved by a Ferrari production car and it is the first ever car with hybrid technology to come out of Maranello. A 6.3 liter V12 combines with an electric motor to output 949 hp and 663 lb-ft of torque. Car and Driver test results were more than impressive: 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds, 0-100 in 4.8 seconds and, at 9.8 seconds to 150 mph, it beat the Bugatti Veyron by 1.5 seconds. it did the 1/4 mile in that same 9.8 second time.
Of course, performance is only part of the equation here. The LaFerrari is a masterpiece in very sense of the word. Beautiful inside and out, this Ferrari also boasts state-of-the-art comfort, convenience and technology features.
The cockpit features liberal use of carbon fiber, Alcantara and leather and provides as driving environment that is both comfortable and practical.
